Role Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for two Senior Residential Support Worker to join our homes.

The role includes assisting the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager with daily tasks including a high standard of reporting & recording, monitoring, ensuring that staff follow individual care plans and ensuring the safeguarding of our children and young people. You will be required to help lead and develop the team and to set an example to others.

The role will also include supporting education, transporting our young people, taking part in activities, daily household tasks, attending meetings with staff and professionals, assisting with training and development of the staff team and reporting to the leadership management team.

The role is a 2 on 4 off shift pattern and also requires sleeping nights.

Requirements:

  • Essential: Level 3 NVQ/Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent

  • Essential: Minimum 2 years Experience within residential child care sector

  • Essential: Knowledge of Children’s Home Regulations

  • Essential: Good Written & IT skills

  • Good organisational skills

  • Able to confidently lead and support a team

  • Good team player

Circa £33,300 - £34,750

Full Time Hours :

37.5 per week

Hourly Rate:

£14.00 - £14.75 plus sleep rate
